If you're looking for a good time waster (which is exactly what I'm doing right now), check out Improv Everywhere. They perform really funny short skits/pranks in random locations. Their goal is to catch people off guard, and they've been doing this for years. You can even join in (this is much easier when you live in a city). My personal favorite prank was when they were able to get a group of men in jeans to go into Abercrombie & Fitch and all take their shirts off. I've embedded a couple of their more recent videos.
